مِيلَاد ٱلْإِمَام ٱلْبُخَارِي
The birth of Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Bukhari in Bukhara (present-day Uzbekistan). He would become the compiler of Sahih al-Bukhari, universally regarded by Sunni scholars as the most authentic book after the Holy Quran. He memorised over 600,000 hadiths and spent sixteen years compiling his Sahih, selecting 7,275 hadiths (with repetitions) based on the most rigorous criteria of authentication.
