NoorAyyaam is committed to protecting your privacy. This site is designed to be as privacy-friendly as possible. We do not track you, we do not use cookies, and we do not collect personal data.

NoorAyyaam does not use cookies of any kind. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies. Your browser will not receive any cookies from this site.

NoorAyyaam uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool that we self-host on our own servers. Umami collects only anonymous, aggregated data such as page views, referral sources, and device type. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors. There is no way for us to identify you. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking service.

NoorAyyaam uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to save a small amount of data on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server. It includes:

• Your theme preference (dark/light mode)
• Your date adjustment setting (moon sighting offset)
• Your favourited events (if you use the favourites feature)
• Kids Ramadan Tracker progress (fasted/prayed/Quran checkboxes)
• Kids Daily Challenge streak

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for noorayyaam.com.

If you use the “Submit an Event” or “Newsletter” forms, your submission is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. The information you voluntarily provide (such as your name and email) is sent to our email address. We do not store this data on any server or database. Please refer to Web3Forms' privacy policy for how they handle form submissions.

NoorAyyaam may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any external site you visit.

The Kids Corner section of NoorAyyaam is designed for children. It does not collect any personal data. All progress tracking (quiz scores, daily challenge streaks, Ramadan tracker) is stored locally on the device and is never transmitted to any server.

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page. Given our commitment to not collecting data, significant changes are unlikely.
