The martyrdom of Sayyiduna Hadrat Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib (Radiyallahu Anhu) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ, the beloved uncle of the Prophet Muhammad, at the Battle of Uhud. Known as 'Asadullah' (the Lion of Allah) and 'Sayyid al-Shuhada' (the Chief of Martyrs), he was killed by Wahshi ibn Harb. When the Prophet ﷺ found his mutilated body on the battlefield, he wept deeply. Hamza was one of the bravest and most devoted supporters of Islam.

Awaiting VerificationThe martyrdom of Sayyiduna Hadrat Mus'ab ibn Umayr (Radiyallahu Anhu) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ at the Battle of Uhud while carrying the banner of Islam. Once the wealthiest young man of Makkah, he gave up everything for Islam. The Prophet sent him as the first ambassador/teacher to Madinah before the Hijrah, where he successfully taught Islam to the Ansar. He was so poor when he died that his burial shroud was too short — it was covered with idhkhir grass.
