Description

The birth of Imam Hadrat Hasan al-Basri (Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ in Madinah during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Umar ibn al-Khattab. Born in the household of Sayyidah Umm Salamah (wife of the Prophet), he would become the most influential Tabi'i (Successor) and a towering figure in Islamic scholarship, asceticism, and eloquence.
