Description

The birth of Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi in Balkh (present-day Afghanistan). He would become one of the greatest Muslim poets and mystics in history, authoring the Masnavi (known as 'the Quran in Persian'), the Diwan-e-Shams, and Fihi Ma Fihi. His works are among the most widely read poetry in the world and contain profound spiritual insights rooted in the Quran and Sunnah.
