Description
The young Muslim general Hadrat Muhammad bin Qasim (Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ led the Umayyad army into Sindh (present-day Pakistan) at the age of 17, marking the arrival of Islam in the Indian subcontinent. He conquered the cities of Debal, Nerun, and Multan, establishing Muslim governance and granting religious freedom to the local population. This campaign opened the door for the eventual spread of Islam throughout South Asia.
