Birth
Born in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Umar b. al-Khattab (radi Allahu anhu), with his tahnnik being performed by the latter. He also met Sayyiduna Ali b. Abi Talib (radi Allahu anhu). He passed away in Rajab 110 AH. — Madinah al-Munawwarah
