Born on a Friday in Madinah al-Munawwarah. The exact date is reported as the 6th, 7th, or 8th of Shawwal; the year is reported as 148 AH by most scholars and 153 AH by others. He holds the rank of the 8th Shaykh of the Qadiriyyah Razawiyyah 'Attariyyah spiritual order. Even before his birth, signs of his extraordinary station were evident — the sounds of 'Subhanallah' and 'Allah' were heard from his mother's womb. — Madinah al-Munawwarah

Ma'ruf al-Karkhi (rahmatullahi alayh) accepted Islam at his hands

Hadrat Ma'ruf al-Karkhi (rahmatullahi alayh), who had fled from his Christian teacher as a child, came to him and accepted Islam. He then received spiritual training from him, becoming the 9th Shaykh of the Qadiriyyah Ridawiyyah 'Attariyyah order and transmitting the blessed chain forward.

10 documented marvels of his blessed life

Among the ten documented marvels: knowledge of hearts, wind showing respect, the miracle of 17 dates, revival of the dead, prior knowledge of his own death, and other extraordinary signs granted to him by Allah Almighty.

Prior knowledge of his own passing

He was granted prior knowledge of when he would depart this world — a sign of his closeness to Allah Almighty and his rank among the greatest of the Ahl-e-Bayt and the awliya of Allah.

Imam Musa Kazim (rahmatullahi alayh)

A descendant of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through Imam Husain (radi Allahu anhu). His lineage traces through Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin, Imam Muhammad Baaqir, Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, and Imam Musa Kazim (rahmatullahi alayh) — among the most exalted chains of sacred lineage in the Islamic world.

La ilaha illallah is My fortress; whoever enters My fortress is safe from My punishment — however, this has a condition, which is love for us, the Ahl-e-Bayt of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
