Hasan ibn Ali
ٱلْحَسَن بْن عَلِيّ
(Radiyallahu Anhu) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ
5 Rajab 50 AH
Abu Muhammad
Aqeeqah on the seventh day — two lambs sacrificed. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered silver equal to his shaved hair's weight be given to charity — Madinah
No one resembled the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more than Hasan ibn Ali
Described by Hadrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu), narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari
- ◈Leader of the young men of Paradise — alongside his brother Hadrat Imam Husayn (radi Allahu anhu)
- ◈The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him and Hadrat Husayn (radi Allahu anhu) 'my two perfumes in this world'
- ◈No one resembled the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more than Hasan ibn Ali (Sahih al-Bukhari)
- ◈The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) described him as 'a great leader' and said Allah will make him a means of reconciliation between two groups of Muslims
- ◈Exceptional generosity — gave away his entire wealth in charity twice
- ◈Known for forbearance and mercy — even those who opposed him wept at his funeral
“Hasan and Husayn are the two leaders of young men in Paradise”— Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
“O Allah! I love him, so You love him too”— Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Musnad al-Bazzaar)
“Certainly, this son of mine is a leader; Allah will make him a means of reconciliation between two groups of Muslims”— Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
“They are my two perfumes in this world”— Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) — referring to Hasan and Husayn
Named by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) — name 'Hasan' originated from Paradise
Served as Caliph — made reconciliation between two groups of Muslims, fulfilling the Holy Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prophecy
Performed Hajj 25 times on foot
Gave away his entire wealth in charity — twice in his lifetime

Jannat-ul-Baqi, near his mother Hadrat Fatimah (radi Allahu anha)
- 🌟Hadrat Imam Hasan (radi Allahu anhu) looked so much like the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that people said no one resembled him more!
- 🌟His name 'Hasan' came from Paradise — it was never used before in Arab history!
- 🌟He was so generous he gave away ALL his money to help others — not once but TWICE!
- 🌟He walked to Hajj 25 times even though he had camels he could have ridden!
- 🌟The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him and his brother Hadrat Husayn (radi Allahu anhu) 'the leaders of the young people of Paradise'!
