Khadijah bint Khuwaylid
خَدِيجَة بِنْت خُوَيْلِد
(Radiyallahu Anha) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهَا
10 Ramadan
Born 15 years before the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), in one of the most honourable households of Quraysh — Makkah
- ◈Never worshipped idols even before Islam — rejected prevailing pagan practices
- ◈Her trade enterprise surpassed all other Quraysh trades combined — managed business with skill and integrity
- ◈First woman to accept Islam
- ◈Resolute and noble with exceptional intelligence, strength of character, and a charming personality like no other person
- ◈Provided food, clothing, dowries for poor women, supported widows and orphans
- ◈Spent all her wealth on inviting people to Islam — made her entire fortune an endowment for Islam
- ◈During three years of rugged living (boycott), depleted her entire large fortune supporting the followers of Islam
- ◈Islam was given shape and design in her home
Hired the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as a trade agent for her Syria expedition
Her servant Maysarah reported his honesty and integrity — she was so impressed she proposed marriage
First person to accept Islam when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) received revelation
Comforted the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) during the overwhelming experience of first revelation
Reassured him that Allah would never disgrace him due to his noble character

- 🌟She was the very first person to believe in the Holy Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) message — even before anyone else!
- 🌟She was so generous she gave away ALL her money to help spread Islam!
- 🌟Even before Islam she was known as 'Al-Tahira' which means 'The Pure One' because of her amazing character!
- 🌟She personally carried food to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was praying in the Cave of Hira!
