His father passed away when he was 15 years old, after which he inherited a garden and a watermill
- ◈At the age of 15, his heart was revolutionised through a meeting with the majzoob Hadrat Ibrahim Qandauzi (rahimahullah), who entered his garden and placed a piece of chewed oil cake in his mouth — after which he sold all his possessions and distributed everything to the poor
