Sayyidatuna Umm-e-Kulsoom (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away in Sha'ban 9th Hijri. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led her funeral Salah and buried her in Jannat-ul-Baqi. Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'At the time of burial, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting near the grave. I saw that tears were coming out of his blessed eyes.' Standing at the graveside, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'If I had had even ten daughters, I would have given all in Uthman's Nikah one after another.'
