ﷺ
After the passing of his parents, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was brought up by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the chief of Makkah. He loved his blessed grandson greatly, kept him with himself at all times, fed him alongside himself, and put him to sleep by his side at night. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was eight years old, his grandfather also passed away.
