When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the age of 40, revelation began. He would go to the Cave of Hira to worship in solitude. Six months passed with true dreams. In the blessed month of Ramadan, one night, Sayyiduna Jibraeel (peace be upon him), the chief of all angels, brought the first exalted message of Allah Almighty in the form of revelation.
