In the 10th year of Prophethood, Abu Taalib, the uncle of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), passed away; and not even a week later, his beloved wife Sayyidatuna Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) also passed away. He (peace and blessings be upon him) called this year Aam-ul-Huzn — The Year of Grief.
