ﷺ
The Battle of Uhud took place on 17th Shawwal, 3 Hijri. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led an army of one thousand, reduced to 700 when the hypocrite Abdullah Bin Ubayy withdrew with 300 men. During the battle, a blow struck his blessed face, causing pieces of the helmet to pierce it, some corners of his blessed teeth broke, and his blessed lower lip was also injured. Seventy Muslims were martyred.
