A devotee named Ibrahim in Madinah al-Munawwarah would save half his earnings throughout the year to celebrate the Milad of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When Rabi'-ul-Awwal arrived, he would distribute food among people for the Isal-e-Sawab of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After his death, his son saw in a dream that his father had attained a lofty station in Paradise. The father said: 'Alhamdulillah! This is all by the blessings of celebrating the Milad of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).'
