The pigeons of the Haram of Masjid-un-Nabawi demonstrated their love for the court of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): When the administration once decided to stop feeding the pigeons so they would migrate elsewhere, the pigeons, out of their love for the Green Dome, were starving to death but refused to leave. The dwellers of Madinah witnessed this scene of devotion themselves, and news spread throughout the world until the government resumed feeding the pigeons.
