Shaqq al-Sadr: The angels split the blessed chest of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), took out his blessed heart and washed it. This act was carried out four times in his blessed life: first when he was four years old; second when he was ten years old; third when he was forty years old; and fourth before going on the journey of Mi'raj. Before the Mi'raj, Sayyiduna Jibraeel (peace be upon him) bathed the pure heart with the water of Zam Zam, filled it with faith and wisdom, and replaced it in the blessed chest.
