The miracle of the moon being split: The disbelievers demanded a miracle, and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) split the moon into two halves, mention of which is found in the Holy Quran. Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'During the time of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the moon was split into two.' The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Remain as witnesses.' The disbelievers of Makkah accused him of blocking their sight with magic.
