At the Conquest of Makkah, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was decorated with great accounts of forbearance, mercy and forgiveness. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gazed intently upon the thousands who had laid trails of oppression and harm. Despite having the power to punish, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his merciful gaze towards them and announced: "There is no blame on you today, so go — you are all free."
