The great Sufi master and spiritual guide Uthman Harooni Chishti passed away. He was the murshid (spiritual guide) of the renowned Khwaja Hadrat Moinuddin Chishti (Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ of Ajmer.

حِصَار ٱلطَّائِف

Following the Battle of Hunayn and the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet Hadrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) ﷺ besieged the fortified city of Ta'if where the Thaqif tribe had taken refuge. After approximately 20 days, the Prophet ﷺ lifted the siege and made du'a for the guidance of the people of Ta'if, who later embraced Islam voluntarily.
