Description

Following the Battle of Hunayn and the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet Hadrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) ﷺ besieged the fortified city of Ta'if where the Thaqif tribe had taken refuge. After approximately 20 days, the Prophet ﷺ lifted the siege and made du'a for the guidance of the people of Ta'if, who later embraced Islam voluntarily.
