Description

The passing of Imam Abu al-Faraj Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Jawzi, one of the most prolific scholars of the Hanbali school. Born in Baghdad, he authored over 300 works spanning hadith, tafsir, history, asceticism, and literature. His most famous works include Talbis Iblis (exposing Satan's deceptions), Sifat al-Safwa (biographies of the righteous), and Zad al-Masir fi Ilm al-Tafsir. He was renowned for his powerful public sermons that attracted thousands.
