Description

The passing of Hadrat Imam Abu Yusuf (Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim (Alayhis Salam), the foremost student of Imam Abu Hanifa and the first Qadi al-Qudat (Chief Justice) in Islamic history. He served under the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid and played a crucial role in establishing the Hanafi school as the official legal school of the Abbasid state. His Kitab al-Kharaj on taxation remains a foundational text in Islamic finance.
