Description

The passing of Khwaja Bahauddin Hadrat Shah Naqshband (Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ Bukhari, the founder and namesake of the Naqshbandi Sufi order, one of the most widespread spiritual orders in the Muslim world. Born near Bukhara (present-day Uzbekistan), he emphasised silent dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and adherence to the Sunnah. His spiritual method of 'Khush dar dam' (awareness in every breath) became the hallmark of the Naqshbandi path.
