Description

The passing of the 'Fifth Rightly Guided Caliph' Hadrat Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz (Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ. In just two years and five months of rule, he reversed decades of unjust Umayyad policies, restored the rights of the Prophet ﷺ's family, abolished the public cursing of Sayyiduna Ali from pulpits, established social welfare, and commissioned the formal compilation of hadith. His justice was so profound that it is said wolves and sheep grazed together during his reign.
