بسم اللّٰهِ الرحمن الرحيم
Rajab is one of the four sacred months of Islam and is often called the Month of Allah. It serves as the gateway to the blessed months of Sha'ban and Ramadan. The 27th night of Rajab marks the miraculous Night Journey (Isra) and Ascension (Mi'raj) of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam), during which the five daily prayers were prescribed. Scholars recommend increasing worship, fasting, and repentance in Rajab as spiritual preparation for Ramadan.
