Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq
(Rahimahullah) رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ
Abu Abdullah; also Abu Ismail
Born on a Monday. The 6th Shaykh of the Qadiriyyah Razawiyyah 'Attariyyah spiritual order. Classified as a Tabi'i, having seen Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (radi Allahu anhu) and Hadrat Sahl ibn Sa'd (radi Allahu anhu). — Madinah al-Munawwarah
- ◈The 6th Shaykh of the Qadiriyyah Razawiyyah 'Attariyyah spiritual order, carrying the blessed chain of spiritual authority.

- ◈His lineage is distinguished on both sides — Husaini Sayyid through his father and Siddeeqi through his mother, descending from Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (radi Allahu anhu).

- ◈Great scholars and Imams sat at his feet and transmitted knowledge from him, including Imam Abu Hanifa (rahmatullahi alayh), Imam Malik (rahmatullahi alayh), Sufyan Thawri (rahmatullahi alayh), and Sufyan ibn Uyaynah (rahmatullahi alayh).

Born in Madinah al-Munawwarah on a Monday
Born 17th Rabi-ul-Awwal, 80 AH (some reports say 83 AH). Named Ja'far ibn Muhammad.
Saw the Companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Attained the rank of Tabi'i by seeing Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (radi Allahu anhu) and Hadrat Sahl ibn Sa'd (radi Allahu anhu).
Miracle of the Delicious Dates — whispered to dried trees
He whispered to dried date trees, and fresh, delicious dates immediately appeared from them.
Miracle of the supplication — a man performed Hajj 50 times
He supplicated for a man, and it was granted that this man would perform the Hajj 50 times — which came to pass.
Miracle — brought a dead cow back to life
Through the power granted to him by Allah Almighty, he restored life to a dead cow.
Miracle — knowledge of a lost shawl between Arafah and Muzdalifah
He informed someone of the exact location of a shawl lost between Arafah and Muzdalifah, which was confirmed to be true.
Miracle — purchased a house in Paradise for a generous donor
A man donated 10,000 dinars; he informed him that in exchange, he had purchased a house in Paradise for him.
Miracle — told Khalifah Mansoor the wisdom behind the creation of flies
When Khalifah Mansoor asked about flies, he replied that Allah Almighty created flies to disgrace oppressors and tyrants.
Miracle — grapes and shawl from the unseen at Mount Abu Qubays
At Mount Abu Qubays, grapes and a shawl were presented to him from the unseen, as a sign of his lofty station.
Appointed as the 6th Shaykh of the Qadiriyyah Razawiyyah 'Attariyyah spiritual order
Holds the 6th position in the blessed spiritual chain of the Qadiriyyah Razawiyyah 'Attariyyah silsilah.
Passed away in Madinah al-Munawwarah
He returned to the mercy of Allah Almighty and was buried in Madinah al-Munawwarah.

Imam Muhammad Baaqir (rahmatullahi alayh)
Umm Farwa bint Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr (radi Allahu anha)
His paternal lineage traces to Imam Husain (radi Allahu anhu) through Imam Zain al-Abidin (rahmatullahi alayh), making him a Husaini Sayyid. His maternal lineage traces to Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (radi Allahu anhu), making him Siddeeqi on his mother's side. His son Imam Musa Kazim (rahmatullahi alayh) was among his distinguished students.
